The Quiet Weight Index did not start as a product. It started as one person’s private question, and the slow discovery that the question was not private at all.
A question after “arrival”
After two decades building a successful commercial career, our founder hit the goals he had spent years chasing, and noticed the quiet thing nobody warns you about: reaching them did not deliver what he had been working toward. The drive kept running; the target had gone hollow. “What’s next?” became the question that would not leave. Read his full story on the About page.
A pattern, not a personal problem
The more he looked, the clearer it became that this was not his private defect. The same quiet heaviness showed up again and again in other high-functioning people: capable, successful, in control on the outside, and quietly overloaded on the inside. It had no name. So he named it: Quiet Weight.
From insight to instrument
Naming it was not enough; it had to be made usable. The private set of questions he had been working with, the FOCUS framework, was turned into a structured method: nine areas of life, a single QWI Score, a “life wheel” you can see, and a personal summary. A way to convert the unknown into the known, and to make invisible weight visible.
Why an iceberg
The brand is an iceberg above a waterline for a reason. What shows above the surface, the title, the income, the “you’ve got it together”, is a fraction of what a person actually carries. QWI is about what sits below the line: calm, depth and reflection instead of more noise.
